Gareth Bale feels the derby marks the ideal chance for Tottenham to bounce back

Tottenham winger Gareth Bale has branded Saturday's North London derby against Arsenal as 'almost the perfect situation' for his side to get their season back on track.
Gareth Bale: Believes the derby is the perfect chance for Spurs to redeem themselves
Spurs travel to Emirates Stadium on the back of two straight Premier League defeats, having suffered a deflating last-gasp loss at Manchester City last weekend and a shock upset at home to Wigan the week before.
But Bale believes form will count for nothing when Andre Villas-Boas' side make the short trip to Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime and feels the derby presents an ideal opportunity for Tottenham to put things right, as well as paying back the fans.
"It's almost the perfect situation," the Wales international told Spurs' official website.
"All form goes out of the window in the derby; we'll go out there to play for the fans and try to go out for a victory."
He added: "You step onto the pitch and feel the atmosphere around you. It's a great day and hopefully we'll come out on top.
"The lads concentrate on the game and try to treat it as just another game, but we know how important it is for the fans."

Influential

Bale has been influential in previous visits to the Emirates, winning a penalty in last season's encounter and scoring in the 3-2 victory there the year before.
The winger hopes he can repeat his heroics of previous campaigns this weekend to boost his side.
He said: "If you score a goal, the noise and energy around the stadium gives you a lift and keeps you going.
"I did it before and I'm looking to trying to do the same again."
