Rob's rail-ly good way to reverse City fortunes

ROBERTO MANCINI has come up with a tramtastic new way to get Manchester City back on track in the title race.

The Italian and some of his Manchester City stars can now be heard on Manchester’s latest tram service.

Mancini, skipper Vincent Kompany, goalkeeper Joe Hart and midfielder James Milner have all recorded announcements for Metrolink’s east Manchester line.

As passengers get off near the Etihad Stadium, Mancini says: “This is Roberto Mancini from Manchester City. This is the Bury service. The next stop will be the Etihad Campus.”

He makes a similar announcement when the tram travels in opposite direction to Droylsden.

Kompany also pipes up with the line “this is your captain speaking”, before announcing the tram’s destination.

The voices of Hart and Milner will be used for the New Islington and Holt Town stops on the line.

But with City trailing rivals Manchester United by 12 points in the Premier League, one thing you won’t hear the quartet mention is ‘Mind the gap’!
