This affects the player mentally as he enters a vicious psychological circle of frustration = nerves = more frustration etc. & etc. The body stops flowing & everything goes wrong. The player has talent, but at Barça there is no time for waiting. Either you take your chance & explode or some other player with come into the vacuum & do his thing. His team-mate Pedro has been rocking for months & that's another obstacle for the Chilean.
Italian Club JUVENTUS is more understanding & sees Alexis as a player that can fit into their scheme. Juventus will not pass the 30M€ mark but do not discount a straight buy. They do prefer to ask FC Barcelona for a loan & a buying option & are testing the waters. Juventus believes that Alexis can be a perfect complement for newly signed Spanish International FERNANDO LLORENTE who joins them next season.
Alexis cost Barça 40M€, I would imagine that they would wish to get some of the money back if they agree to a transfer.
